Léon Grosse - Le Thémis, Paris 17ème

Contexte :

Le Thémis is a 10,655 m² office building located on Lot N4 of the Clichy-Batignolles Mixed Development Zone (ZAC) (Paris 17th), which has received the HQE® Excellent, BREEAM Excellent, Effinergie+ and Biosourcé labels.

These innovations and the extensive use of wood in the construction earned it a place among the 10 pilot projects selected for the Bâtiment Bas Carbone (BBCA) (Low Carbon Building) label.

The Thémis project is a veritable showcase for sustainable development. Its sustainable construction combined with its mixed wood-and-concrete structure and its controlled operation, using geothermal energy production, make it exemplary in environmental terms.

Designed and constructed using BIM by the architecture firm Corinne Vezzoni & Associés, it extends over a length of 80 metres facing the Paris ring road, creating a dynamic optical effect with its inclined glass walls, and has an emblematic south face presenting a perfect picture of greenery brought to life.

Léon Grosse is in charge of conducting the construction work and uses Kaliti for the phases from structural works and land use ratio inspections through to Acceptance/Completion Guarantee.

The work started in the second quarter of 2016 and should be completed in the second quarter of 2018.
